The Town of Warsaw is governed by a Mayor and a five member Board of Commissioners. Elections are nonpartisan, and all seats are at-large. The Mayor is elected for a four year term, and Commissioners are elected for four year staggered terms.

Mission
The mission of the Board of Commissioners is to represent the public interest, promote quick, courteous response to residents’ problems, and provide leadership and direction regarding the Town’s future. The Town of Warsaw operates under the Council-Manager form of government. Under this form of government, the Board of Commissioners sets policies for the operation of the Town to be administered by the Town Manager.
Meetings
Meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the Board Room of the Town Hall, located at 121 S. Front Street. The public is given an opportunity to speak at every meeting for three minutes on any topic. A sign-up sheet for speaking is available at the entrance of the Board Room would like to address the Board.
